The Hunt for the Jadeite Orb is one of the many quests that you can complete in Dragon’s Dogma 2, but it can be a little tricky – so I’m here to break down where to it and who to give it to so that you can get the maximum rewards from the quest.

This quest, like the Readvent of Calamity, has varying ways of completing it in the game, and there are ample rewards for taking a longer route to doing so.

Where to find the Jadeite Orb

While there is an assortment of threads that you can follow to find the Jadeite Orb in Dragon’s Dogma 2, the simple answer is that it can be bought from Ibrahim’s Scrap Shop in the Checkpoint Rest Town for 7,500 Gold, the very place you’ll receive the quest.

When you enter the town you’ll likely be accosted by Everard first, who asks you to bring him the Jadeite Orb.

However, he isn’t the only one seeking it. His apprentice, Offulve, lost it in the first place and is also looking to get it so that he can turn a profit.

How to create a Jadeite Orb forgery in Dragon’s Dogma 2

You’ve got the Jadeite Orb now, congratulations! But, why stop there? While you could certainly give the Orb to either party straight away, there is a way to get more bang for your buck by creating a forgery of the Jadeite Orb.

To do so, simply speak to Ibrahim again and he will offer to create a forgery of the orb. This will take a couple of days and set you back 2,000 Gold but it will be worth it in the long run. Once a day or two has passed, speak to him again to take your forgery, along with the original Jadeite Orb.

Who to give the Jadeite Orb to

With both orbs in hand, it’s time to finally hand them over, and this is the best way to get the most rewards from each character that covets a Jadeite Orb.

Everard

You’ll want to give Everard the genuine Jadeite Orb, as he’ll go and get it appraised to ensure it’s the real deal. Once he’s satisfied, he’ll present you with the following rewards:

  • Ring of Skulduggery
  • 12,000 Gold

The Ring of Skulduggery is especially valuable for those hoping to make the best Thief build.

Offulve

Of course, that means you’ll be giving the forgery to Offulve. While this might seem like he’s being short-changed, it works in your favour, as he’ll give you the following rewards:

  • Elite Camping Kit
  • 3,000 Gold
  • 1,000 XP

With both parties satisfied (as far as they know) the quest is complete and you'll have got the most rewards out of it.
