Atomic Heart features a series of testing facilities in its open world that need to be unlocked, either through camera puzzles or keys. In the game, they act as ways for players to collect specific weapon upgrades, making your arsenal even more powerful.

So, if you're looking for an explainer of how you can access Testing Ground 8, we've got you covered.

Where can you find the Testing Grounds 8?

Testing Grounds 8 can be found within the Computational Centre, an area you will head to during the Bug in the System quest, shortly after finishing part of the story set in the VDNH.

Inside this building, you will notice an elevator with three red lights above it. These all denote locks, which you will need to deactivate using the camera around the area. Once a lock has been deactivated, the associated light above the elevator will turn green.

Below, we'll show you where to find all three locks, and how exactly you'll need to deactivate them.

On the road leading toward the Computational Centre, you can find a tower with a terminal on top of it. Interact with this terminal after getting to the top of the tower, and select the camera marked on the map above.

If you look around with the camera, you will be able to see a machine next to some trees, and looking directly at it will prompt you to press a button. This will deactivate the first lock.

For the second lock, you will need to get to the top of the Computational Centre. This is best done by walking around the outside of the building and finding the wooden platforms that you can jump on to get up.

After reaching the top of the building and locating the terminal, interact with it to bring up the map again. On the map, select the camera highlighted on the map above, and you will see a small circular room ahead of you.

Hit the button prompt twice here to open the door and activate the machine inside, and then another button prompt will appear for a place off-screen you can't see. This is the second machine, which will deactivate the second lock.

For the third and final lock, go back to the map screen using the same terminal you did for the second lock. Select the camera marked on the map above, which is further away than the rest.

When you're using the camera, you will notice a small area with some containers and a robot, with a machine in the middle. Press the button prompt again, which will deactivate the third lock, allowing you to enter Testing Grounds 8.

You can now head back into the building and take the elevator down to start getting your weapon upgrades.
