Does Atomic Heart Have A 6 Hour Cutscene?
We can confirm that Atomic Heart does not have a 6-hour cutscene where you have sex with robots.
Click to enlargeThe rumour looks to have originated from a faked picture of two of the game's mascots, the mechanical ballerina twins, which contains text stating, "developers of Atomic Heart have confirmed that there will be a 6-hour cutscene between the main character and the mechanical ballerina twin".
We're unsure of the origin, but it may be a joke from the developers, Mundfish, to capitalise on the…fascination that some fans have developed for the ballerina twins.
They even posted some rule 34 content to the community tab of their YouTube channel in 2022, showing that they are definitely aware of the hype surrounding the two characters.
They've also joked about the situation on Twitter prior to release. A fan asked, "so, how many hours of sex scenes will it contain now?", to which they responded, "find out by yourself ;)".
This had many speculating that the game would contain a sex scene of sorts, and while there's no sex scenes in the game, there are references to sex and a robot called Nora who explicitly flirts with the main character and jokes about sexually assaulting him.
