The Armored Core 6 PC system requirements have finally been officially revealed by FromSoftware. Not only has the studio informed us of the minimum system requirements, but also the recommended requirements - both with and without Ray Tracing.

The game will see FromSoftware return to the mech shooter genre for the first time in over ten years, after an extended break whilst making the critical darlings that are Bloodborne, Sekiro, Elden Ring and the Dark Souls series.

It will be interesting to see what it takes from its previous successes, and if those games will have any influence on a series that first began 26 years ago.

Here is all you need to know about the Armored Core 6 PC system requirements:

The Armored Core 6 PC system requirements aren't as steep as many players would expect, most likely due to the game releasing on last-generation consoles like the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, in addition to current gen and PC.

The system requirements below are broken down into minimum and recommended specs, with and without Ray Tracing. Ray Tracing is only available in the Garage where you customise your mechs. The gameplay, where you will be flying around and fighting mechs, does not support Ray Tracing - so keep this in mind when looking below.

Essentially, if you've built a moderately powerful PC at some point within the previous decade, you should be fine to run the game on the lowest settings and still get a stable framerate.

It's also worth noting that some of these minimum requirements are lower than Elden Ring's specs. Specifically, the GPU requirement for Armored Core 6 is a whole generation lower.

This could be due to the game's tighter mission structure, as it doesn't need to load an entire open world like Elden Ring or other reasons behind the scenes we don't know about yet.

That's all for our explanation of the Armored Core 6 PC system requirements, and now you know the minimum and recommended specs needed to run the game. If you're still on the fence about Armored Core 6, why not give our hands-on preview a read?
