A hidden Helldivers 2 damage buff has been found, but apparently, it'll only help PlayStation 5 players kill the Terminid enemies easier than ever.

Arrowhead Game Studios is crushing it right now with Helldivers 2, and though it stands as a console exclusive on PlayStation, it's still demolishing most-played charts on Steam, too.
It's been some time since a shooter pulled up on the market and truly blew up, with Helldivers 2's success standing on its own with very few peers to compare it to. It's done wonders in proving that the standard shooter archetype isn't inherently a money mill.
All it takes is a glimpse at Twitter's democracy peddlers to prove that the atmosphere of the game has permeated into the real world. There might be an optimised way to bring that democracy about, as one new trick has been discovered just for the game's PlayStation-based soldiers.
Helldivers 2 buff is exclusive to PlayStation players
As reported by Dexerto, one streamer and Helldivers 2 fan has discovered that the fight for democracy might not be as equal for all players has we had once thought, with new footage suggesting that PlayStation players could be getting the longer end of the stick used to beat Terminids with.
Twitch streamer Maplewood has pointed out in a new clip that when playing on PlayStation, the Bile Titans that are the game's biggest insect problem, can be dispatched with only three shots from the hugely powerful Railgun.
It's fair enough, as many players report experiencing similar kill times - but Maplewood has revealed that when playing on PC, it could take up to around 12 shots to kill them. While strange, there is a way for players to experience the limited kill time no matter their platform of choice.
PC players can still take advantage of quick Bile Titan kill times in Helldivers 2
Even though the difference benefits PlayStation users, PC players aren't entirely boxed out of this unexpected buff. As long as you're playing a game hosted by a PlayStation user, it doesn't matter what platform you're on, and you can enjoy tearing Bile Titans to bits with incredible ease.
We're still unsure as to why this is the case, and it's likely to be a mere glitch that will be patched up soon enough. But hey, you might as well live it up while you can but blasting Bile Titans with ease. Happy murdering.
