Red Dead Redemption 2 players baffled by nude NPC
Even five years later, players are still learning new details about Red Dead Redemption 2, and it's telling of the sheer size and scale of the modern masterpiece from Rockstar Games. While it could be argued that Rockstar prioritised realism over fun, it's still gripped players all over the world regardless.
There's little denying that the game is so expansive that it'll keep players busy for hundreds of hours, encountering new details in each of them. And now, fans are confused by the appearance of a strange streaker in one player's playthrough.
Red Dead Redemption 2 has a mystery streaker
It looks like there's still plenty to make sense of in Red Dead Redemption 2, as one player has reported that a mystery streaker has appeared out of nowhere during their gameplay. "Is this random sprinting nude man important?" asks user Relevant-Break-5820.
They share a video of Arthur and Dutch galloping through the woods, only to be met with a strange man running in front of their horses. He's seemingly wearing nothing, fading from one side of the screen to the other.
It's a deeply strange video that nobody can really explain, as this definitely isn't a part of the ongoing mission - and now fans are trying to piece together who exactly this nude Red Dead Redemption 2 NPC could be.

Click to enlargeFans have been putting their heads together, and they reckon they've figured out just who the strange naked man is. "Could this be the wolf man by any chance?" asks one user, and others have flocked to add credence to the theory.
The Wolf Man, otherwise known as Feral Man in Red Dead Online, is a man who fled into the wilderness after being met with the horrors of hunting with his father, and now lives out his life in the forests, acting like a wolf and notably not wearing anything as he does.
Others think it's the mysterious Gavin. The NPC Nigel can be seen searching for his MIA friend in 1899, but when he reappears in 1907, he's seemingly gone mad due to excessive searching. As we've never seen Gavin in-game, there's every chance the nude NPC is actually him.
We supposed it makes sense that the nude NPC is either Gavin or the Wolf Man, but that doesn't make it any less strange that the man is just darting around the forest in the nude. We, personally, respect the gall to do it, though.
