Week 2 of challenges has arrived. Fortnite players are just starting to ease into the new season. With new POIs, new Mythic weapons, new gameplay mechanics and more, Week 1 challenges gave players a chance to find their bearings. Now, things heat up in Week 2 with a whole new set of hot-n-ready challenges. Players will be rewarded a massive 245K XP toward their Battle Pass and Season level upon completion of all seven Week 2 challenges. Plus, there’s another new Aquaman challenge.

Without further ado, let’s take a look at our Challenge Guide below for an in-depth breakdown of every single Week 2 challenge and the best course of action for completing them.

Use different Ziplines at The Authority (8) - 35,000 XP

For this challenge, players will need to ride on eight different Ziplines located around The Authority POI. This may be difficult to pull off in one go. The Authority is a highly contested POI, filled with aggressive Henchmen and enemy players.

We suggest hopping into the Team Rumble game mode for this challenge. Since The Authority is dead centre of the map, players will have ample time before the storm closes and cuts off the location. Here, players can complete the challenge carefree without the fear of perma-death.

Make your way around the massive base, hitting each new zipline you come across. Make sure to take note of which ziplines have already been used in order to avoid doubling up. If you are eliminated for any reason, just remember where you left off and glide back down to The Authority. Follow these steps and you should see the “Challenge Complete” notification in no time.

Search Chests or Ammo boxes at Holly Hedges (7) - 35,000 XP

As we discussed last week, the “Search Chests or Ammo boxes” challenges tend to be hectic early in the week. The chosen POI becomes crowded as players all rush to get the new challenges done.

If you don’t mind waiting, consider saving this challenge for last. As the week goes on, Holly Hedges will have fewer and fewer visitors. Once the hype has died down, it's easy to knock this challenge out in one attempt. Wait until the Battle Bus path ends with Holly Hedges as the last spot. This strategy will ensure you encounter even less competition.

Find Deadpool floaties at The Yacht (3) - 35,000 XP

Deadpool’s Yacht has relocated to the far north-centre of the map. The Yacht is not as luxurious as it once was, but it’s still packed to the brim with loot and supplies.

Players will need to find three out of the four total floaties to complete this challenge. The floaties are coloured black and red in the shape of a Deadpool unicorn. They are quite small, but you’ll know when you find them.

The first of the four Deadpool floaties is located inside a bright orange container toward the front of the Yacht. The container sits on the smaller boat attached to the larger Yacht.

The second floaty is in a room at the very top level of the Yacht. Players can run up a set of stairs near the previously mentioned orange container for easy access. Take the hallway down to the very back. Inside a large room will be the second floaty.

Immediately break the floor beneath you and make your way down to the flat wooden deck. The third floaty will be right beside a Deadpool umbrella.

The fourth and final floaty is located at the stern of the Yacht. You will find it on the mid-level of the ship, in a large room identical to the one the second floaty is discovered in.

Score a goal on the soccer pitch at Pleasant Park (1) - 35,000 XP

A fun, casual challenge. Players will need to land at the Pleasant Park POI and make their way to the soccer pitch in the middle. The soccer ball can be found right next to the chest spawn in the centre of the field. Use your character to kick the ball toward either of the goals. Make the shot, and your challenge is completed.

Watch out for griefers looking to take advantage of unsuspecting players aiming to complete this challenge. It may not be a regular occurrence, but it happens. If you're lucky, enemy players will be too preoccupied looting up to worry about an unarmed player playing soccer.

Eliminations at Lazy Lake (3) - 35,000 XP

A standard elimination challenge. Look to complete this challenge as early in the week as possible. Just like the “Search Chests and Ammo boxes” challenges, players flock to these locations as soon as the new list of challenges drops. Joining in on the action early ensures there will be plenty of prey to target. Wait too long into the season and you may have difficulty finding players to finish this challenge on.

Headshot Henchmen at The Fortilla (20) - 35,000 XP

The best way to approach this challenge is to glide in on one of The Fortilla’s many high vantage points. Search the area and locate a standard Assault Rifle or a Burst Assault Rifle. These two weapons work best, but any gun will do the job. Next, pinpoint one or more of the GHOST Henchmen scattered around the area. Take potshots at the white-suited bodyguards until you get a notification that the challenge is completed.

If you keep your distance and maintain high ground on the Henchmen, you shouldn’t have too much difficulty with this challenge. The Henchmen are susceptible at range and have no way of contesting players up and above them.

Avoiding enemy players will be the hardest part. Stay alert and aware of any rival player’s looking to capitalize while you are focused on Henchmen. If you're confident, you can choose to clear the area before engaging with the Henchmen. Otherwise, just do your best to keep tabs on the opponents while you chip away at Henchmen headshots.

Gather or Consume Foraged Items at The Orchard (5) - 35,000 XP

The Orchard is an unnamed POI just north of Frenzy Farm. The scenery is the same; barns, scarecrows, apple trees and cabbage patches. The latter two are what you need to locate to complete this challenge.

This challenge should not prove too difficult. The Orchard is a rather secluded area that doesn’t see many visitors. Most of the time, players should have this area for themselves.

Also, apples and cabbages are plentiful. Apples are literally everywhere on the ground of the apple orchard and the dirt fields are abundant with cabbages. Simply gather up five of these foragable items total to complete this challenge.

Aquaman Challenge: Use a Fishing Pole to ride behind a Loot Shark at Sweaty Sands

If you have not completed the Week 1 challenge, “Damage Loot Sharks at Sweaty Sands”, now is the perfect time to knock out two birds, or should I say, two sharks, with one stone.

Head to Sweaty Sands. The first thing you’ll need to do is collect a Fishing Pole. These can often be found on docks or in barrels. Once you have a pole, roam the shoreline in search of a Loot Shark. Cast the line, and wait. The Shark will bite the hook and take you on a journey through the Fortnite waters.

Ride the shark back to shore and beach it. While it’s stuck, take out a weapon and unload into it its body. Follow these steps to complete both week’s challenges.
