The dominoes are falling. Modern Warfare 2 is coming and the pieces are being placed together one at a time.

Having already seen two multiplayer maps revealed, in their own way, for the upcoming Modern Warfare 2019 sequel, a third map has now been revealed.

Following on from Farm 18 and Marina Bay Grand Prix, Call of Duty developers took to social media to tease their next design, "Museum".

Modern Warfare Museum Map Revealed

Taking to Twitter, the Call of Duty team sucked in fans to reveal the third multiplayer map in exchange for likes, revealing pieces of a grid with every 500 likes.

Eventually, the account revealed a full mini-map display of an unnamed map, which we now understand to be Museum.

Originally, fans assumed that the design would be the Marina Grand Prix, given an outside border that looks resemblant to a race track, although players who have been involved in playtests have confirmed it to be Museum.

Fans Immediately Like Modern Warfare 2 Museum Map

Drawing stark familiarities to the fan-favourite design of Raid, Museum has instantly attracted fans' attention. With a similar ring on the left lane, a two-building middle avenue with a somewhat open courtyard, and a right lane populated by buildings, the typical three-pronged design which has been so successful appeared to be apparent.

Unfortunately, no accompanying images followed the blueprint, so its yet to be seen how the buildings and surrounding objects will be laid out.

More of the multiplayer maps will be made apparent during the CoD: Next showcase, which will take place on September 15.
