The Rubber Armour in Tears of the Kingdom is an armour that offers Link some very useful abilities.

If you want to dress Link in tight black rubber for his latest adventure in Hyrule, keep reading to find out how to get the Rubber Armour in Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom.

Where is the Rubber Armour in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom?

If you want to find the Rubber Armour early, head over to the Teniten Shrine and find the cave that is hidden in the crag next to it. This is located in the Central Hyrule region, south of Whistling Hill.

There is a breakable rock in the foothills blocking the entrance. Use Link’s Fuse ability to build a Rock Hammer. To make this, you’ll need a one-handed weapon and, funnily enough, a rock.

Venture into the cave, taking out any enemies that spring out at you. Once you make your way further in, you’ll come across some pesky vines that are blocking your path. You’ll need a sword to chop them down. Alternatively, if you’ve got any fire arrows to hand, aim true. There’s a Hearty Truffle on the right, so make sure you pick that up.

Jump down the cavern (carefully) and take out all the Skeleton Bokobolins. Make your way through the cave. Climb the wall with the Brightcap at the top, making sure to avoid the rocks rolling towards you. Stun the enemy by rolling them by using rewind on the rocks, then make your way past him (or kill him if you fancy).

Avoid their rocky assault, then whip out your trusty Rock Hammer from before. Break the second blocked entrance in front of you and defeat the electric guard, being careful not to get shocked along the way. Collect the chest it drops for a Soldier’s Shield, then attach a Bomb Flower to an arrow and fire it at the final blocked entrance. Climb up the walls, where you’ll find the Rubber Armour inside a chest.

Why should you equip the Rubber Armour in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom?

Just like in Breath of the Wild, there are certain types of Armour in Tears of the Kingdom that give Link special abilities. The Rubber Armour helps Link take on electric enemies by providing him with Level 1 Shock Resistance and lightning immunity in the game.

Plus, did we mention how stylish it looks?
