Looking to use the Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Hyrule Field Skyview Tower to unlock a chunk of the map? Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom takes after the previous game by having players seek out towers to unlock the map. The Hyrule Field Skyview Tower reveals a big part of the centre of the game's map. Here is what you need to know to find and activate the Hyrule Field Skyview Tower in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

After reaching the surface and completing the first few tasks given to you by Purah, you are free to explore Hyrule as and how you please. Just to the south of Lookout Landing is Hyrule Field, with a Skyview Tower waiting to be activated.

If you head directly south from Lookout Landing you will come to the Hyrule Field chasm. From there, head southwest to find the Skyview Tower. You will be able to see it long before you get there, so use your scope to put a pin on it.

When you reach the tower, you will notice someone has built a bit of a fort around it. This fort belongs to a bunch of Bokoblins, which can be tough to get through if you have just started the game. If you don't fancy your chances in a fight, you can run right past them straight to the tower and activate it quickly, before you get mobbed.

Of all the Skyview Towers in Tears of the Kingdom, this is one of the most straightforward. Many towers have some kind of problem or puzzle for you to solve before you can access them. In this case, your only problem is the small horde of enemies surrounding the tower.

The simplest solution is to clear them out, making your path to the tower nice and clear. If you aren't ready for that fight yet but still want the tower, you can ignore the enemies if you are quick. Unfortunately, there aren't too many ways in other than the front gate, but that works just fine.

Take the stairs up to the gate and you will encounter a Bokoblin and a Moblin. Sprint passed them and cross the bridge, but take your time as they will roll a giant spiked ball at you. More Bokoblins will become aware of you as you enter the camp, but if you get to the door before they attack you can get in and activate the Hyrule Field Skyview Tower before anyone can stop you.
