Call of Duty Warzone continues to evolve with the arrival of Weapon Cases in Battle Royale mode as part of the Season 1 Reloaded update.
Weapon Cases have appeared in Call of Duty before, but as they're making their debut in Warzone's Battle Royale mode, a lot of players may be wondering about them. So, here's all the info you need about Weapon Cases, including how to get special rewards from them in the game.
What is a Weapon Case in Warzone?
The Weapon Case is a special type of loot container that will spawn in a small search area at the start of every Battle Royale match in Call of Duty: Warzone.
Once someone finds and grabs it, the player holding the Weapon Case will be marked for all enemies in the match. As a result, everyone else on the server will be able to track their real-time location via the minimap.
Each Warzone match will have a single Weapon Case, making it one of the most desired items among players. Make sure you are well-equipped with weapons to battle against other players if you decide to take it.

There are two ways to earn rewards when you find a Weapon Case in Call of Duty: Warzone. Firstly, if you manage to stay alive until the end of the match with the Weapon Case in your inventory, you and your teammates will earn exclusive rewards.
The alternative way to score these rewards is to use the Covert Exfil feature, which is a new method to exfil the match early. There will be only five exfils available to purchase at Buy Stations per match, and they come at a high price.
It's worth noting that you can only acquire these before the Gulag closes. Once you purchase it, a helicopter appears in the sky that will take your squad out of the match along with the Weapon Case you obtained, ultimately giving you special rewards.
Unfortunately, we don’t know what rewards you can obtain using the Weapon Case just yet, as these will be revealed once the Season 1 Reloaded update goes live on January 17, 2024.
