How to get free Warzone anniversary items in Season 2 Reloaded

Warzone is one of the biggest battle royale games on the planet and is currently on version 2.0 which was released alongside Modern Warfare 2. 

As we approach three years of Warzone and the mid-point of the current season, players will soon be able to get some exclusive cosmetics to celebrate the occasion. So, check out our explainer of how to get free anniversary items. 

How to get free anniversary items

Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 Season 2 Reloaded contain seven cosmetic gifts that players can earn to celebrate three years of the battle royale mode, and these anniversary gifts will arrive in the in-game store every few days, so you just need to check the store and redeem them for free.

There are a total of seven rewards that will become available over the course of Season 2 Reloaded, all of which "themed around the maps, season, and memories made since Warzone's surprise launch on March 10, 2020", according to the Call of Duty blog post. 

We don't currently know what all the cosmetic items are, but there have been some screenshots released by Activision showing some of them. One of them (pictured above) shows an assault rifle covered in stickers from past Warzone events, such as 80s Action Heroes, Fortune's Keep, and Vanguard Season 5. 

The blog post confirms there will be a weapon blueprint and a calling card, with the blueprint likely being the AR akin we detailed in the previous paragraph. We'll add each anniversary item to this guide once they start to release.
