Everything we know about the Lockdown LTM in Warzone 2
The Lockdown Mode has arrived in Warzone 2 for Season 4, so here's our rundown of exactly what it is and how to play once it drops with the new update.
Arriving into Warzone 2, Lockdown borrows aspects of the popular Multiplayer mode, Hardpoint, to create a special LTM.
This primer explains how Lockdown works and how to play the Lockdown LTM in Warzone 2 as part of Season 4 update in the game.
Warzone 2's Lockdown LTM schedule
The Lockdown LTM will be available with the launch of Season 04 on June 14, 2023. However, this unique limited-time mode is only live for the first two weeks of Season 04, as it's set to rotate out on June 28, 2023.
What is the Lockdown LTM?
While Lockdown is an LTM for Warzone, it's inspired by Hardpoint from Multiplayer. Instead of fighting to be the last squad standing, teams of four must traverse Vondel to capture and hold various zones.
Lockdown feels like a hybrid between Multiplayer and Battle Royale, in part because you start with Custom Loadouts from the get-go.
The Lockdown LTM lets you play Warzone with your favourite guns and is a perfect spot to level up weapons and test new load-outs.
Matches of Lockdown take about twice as long to finish as a traditional game of Hardpoint, but they're quicker than a drawn-out match of Warzone.
How to play the Lockdown LTM in Warzone 2
Lockdown is part of the Season 04 launch playlist rotation for Warzone. Boot up Call of Duty: Warzone between June 14 and June 28 to participate in this exciting LTM!
Lockdown is Quads only, so grab three friends to create a premade squad and maximize your chances of winning. Of course, you can queue up solo and go at it with random teammates, but it can be difficult to find success in an objective-based mode like Lockdown without tip-top comms.
That sums up the Lockdown LTM. This Battle Royale twist on Hardpoint is only available for a couple of weeks, so don't miss your chance to experience it in Warzone.
