Is Victoria 3 On Game Pass?
Despite first being announced as a day one Game Pass release, Victoria 3 was confirmed to be exclusive to Steam on launch, meaning it won't be available on the PC Game Pass subscription service. Victoria 3's removal from the Game Pass was announced on August 30 in a Paradox blog post where they stated, "the game will be a Steam exclusive at the release - after discussion with our partners, it was decided that Victoria 3 won't be a part of Game Pass or Microsoft Store."
While most of the user base for Paradox games are likely on Steam, this is still sure to affect some players who want to test out the game or have their library mostly on the Microsoft Store. Many other Paradox games are still on the Game Pass service like Crusader Kings III, Stellaris, and Hearts of Iron IV, so it could come to the service sometime in the future. With Paradox also dipping their toes into the console market recently, Victoria 3 could get a similar treatment down the line.
