HIGHLIGHTS:

  • You can reset skill trees using an SP Initialiser
  • These can be bought shops or vendors in the game

With so many abilities in Stellar Blade's Skill Trees, even I was quick to think I might need to reset my SP so I could respec my EVE build.

Thankfully, the game makes this relatively easy with one consumable item you can buy early on.

How to reset Skill Trees & respec SP

In Stellar Blade, buying and using an SP Initialiser is the only way to reset a Skill Tree and refund the SP you invested so far.

Available from the shop you find at any Camp or many of the vendors, this handy item is even the cheapest you can buy compared to the Potions and Grenades for just 200 Gold.

That makes it pretty useful. After, all, I realised a few times I wanted some SP back to reinvest in some of Stellar Blade's best early skills I didn't pick up on until later.

Once you've bought an SP initialiser, you just need to do the following to reset your Skill Trees:

  • Go to your nearest Camp
  • Activate the Skill Tree Terminal
  • Select the Skill Tree you wish to reset
  • Press the Triangle button
  • Select "Yes"

The SP you've invested in that Skill Tree will then be refunded to you. With that, you can reinvest it into new skills either on that same tree, or those in any of the other four.

Keep in mind that Stellar Blade makes it so each SP initialiser only resets one Skill Tree at a time; so, if you want to respec your EVE build completely, you'll need five altogether.
