As soon as you unlock fishing in Stellar Blade, finding the Porcupinefish location is key to completing the Bulletin Board request called Wife's Water Tank.

Although the request does mention the fish's favourite bait, it doesn't say where to hunt for it. Luckily, after catching one myself, I'm ready to tell you exactly where to go in the game

Porcupinefish location in Stellar Blade

The easiest Porcupinefish location in Stellar Blade is the Oasis in the Great Desert region - with the ideal fishing spot being by Clyde who gave you the fishing rod. You can see it marked in the image below.

Since the Porcupinefish's favourite bait is Small Shrimp, which you can also buy from Clyde, this makes completing the quest that much easier.

However, if you're busy wandering through other parts of Stellar Blade, you can locate a Porcupinefish in the Plant area of the Wasteland region as well.

As long as you've nailed the mechanics of the fishing mini-game, it shouldn't take you long to catch one. I was able to snag a Porcupinefish after just a couple of tries.

After securing your Porcupinefish, Stellar Blade will follow up with its useful side quest mechanic where you get an opportune prompt to fast travel back to the Bulletin Board.

As you complete the request, you'll be rewarded with 2000 Gold and four Vitcoins. I'd say that's a pretty nice reward for a quick and easy fishing quest.
