How To Play The Steelrising Beta
Check out how to play the Steelrising beta so you can access the first few hours of the game.
The Steelrising beta has now begun, allowing certain players to play through a taster of the game before release, but how do you gain access? Steelrising is a souls-like action RPG that takes place during the French Revolution, where automatons have taken over Paris after King Louis XVI went mad. You play as the sole automaton with sentience and fight to find a way of shutting the rest down, while uncovering the mystery of their creation. So if you want to try a little of the game before release, check out how to play the Steelrising beta.
How To Play The Steelrising Beta
The Steelrising beta can be accessed by players who pre-order the standard or Bastille editions of the game, and will allow you to play through the game's first two levels, giving you a taster of the story, combat and the progression systems. There will also be a few different weapons and upgrades to trial, allowing you to tinker with different builds. However, your progress will not carry over into the final version of the game, so if you don't want to replay the first couple of hours, you may want to hold off on playing.
This beta phase will run until September 7, which is a day before the game's official worldwide release. If you have pre-ordered the game digitally, the beta version should automatically unlock for you to download, but players who pre-ordered a physical copy will have to ask the retailer for a beta code on their platform of choice. You can redeem it to download the Steelrising beta.
That's all for our breakdown of how to play the Steelrising beta, and now you should be able to access the game early if you pre-ordered it.
