Star Wars Jedi Survivor High Republic connection
Fans have noticed from a recent Star Wars Jedi: Survivor trailer that there may be a connection between a character in the game, and a period known as the High Republic. From the earliest trailers, there has been much speculation about a mysterious figure in a bacta tank.
In the Official Story Trailer, the man in the bacta tank is up and about, and he is less than pleased that the Empire now rules the galaxy. This is obviously news to him, so he clearly has not been conscious for many years. Players quickly picked up on the fact that he wears the robes and carries the lightsaber of a Jedi, but eagle-eyed fans noticed something specific.
The man's robes are light brown and bear a gold trim, with a symbol embossed on the front. That symbol is the insignia of the High Republic, the governing force of the universe many years before the events of the game. It would seem that this man has been out of action for a very long time.

When is the High Republic on the Star Wars Jedi Survivor timeline?
The High Republic is considered to be the golden era of the Republic's rule over the Star Wars galaxy. It followed the Old Republic era, and preceded the rise of the Empire.
The High Republic had been in decline for many years before the Empire formally took control, so the High Republic era is considered to have ended well before the events of the prequel trilogy.
According to Wookiepedia, the High Republic Era lasted from c. 500 BBY to c. 100 BBY. The events of Jedi: Survivor take place in 9 BBY, suggesting that the man in the bacta tank has been in stasis for at least 90 years, possibly many more. Suddenly, it makes sense why he is so grumpy.
