Is Grand Inquisitor in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor? This is the question fans of not only the first game, but also of the wider franchise have been pondering since the release of the first teaser trailer.

To be expected, the trailer features Cal Kestis, the protagonist from Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, amongst other characters that await us when the game releases soon. However, these mysterious figures are causing fans' brains to go wild, pondering who they might be. The Grand Inquisitor is one of these and below, we'll determine whether or not he will be in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

Is Grand Inquisitor in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor?

In the first teaser trailer, we finally got a look, albeit a short one, of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, the sequel to the ever-popular Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. As previously stated, viewers are stating that the Grand Inquisitor is the villain shown, but can this be taken as gospel truth?

Unfortunately, while many are eager to state that it is in fact the Grand Inquisitor in the Star Wars Jedi: Survivor trailer, it's looking more and more likely that this is not the case.

First off, while the shadowy figure in the teaser trailer certainly bares a resemblance to the Grand Inquisitor, we have evidence to suggest it is not him. In an interview on starwars.com, the game's director Stig Asmussen spoke at length about the game.

While he neither confirmed nor denied the appearance of the Grand Inquisitor, the article does feature a still image of the individual thought to be him. The image has a caption, stating "an Imperial senator makes a dangerous deal on Coruscant".

Unless the Grand Inquisitor is pulling double duty as a senator as well, it does not seem likely that these two people are one and the same.

Now, while all of the above looks to put the Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Grand Inquisitor theories to bed, there's no saying that he won't be in the game at all. This is just the first teaser trailer after all and they'll be many secrets to uncover when the game releases.
