The Skate 4 playtest was recently announced on June 30, meaning players aren't far off getting their hands on an early version of the game to try out and feedback to the developers. Fans have been waiting another sequel to Skate for a long time, as the last title released way back in 2010, and gamers who enjoy skating games have been short on titles to try out during that time. Skate also set itself apart from competitors like the Tony Hawk franchise with its more realistic take on skating and its tight control scheme, something the few titles since then have lacked. So if you're excited at the prospect of trying out the game early, here's how to sign up for the Skate 4 playtest.

They also have a FAQ page if you're looking for more information about the playtest, including how to provide feedback and whether you can talk about your experience.
