Is Realm Royale Cross Platform?

Realm Royale does have cross platform capabilities for the platforms that it's currently available on. This means that players on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch can play with or against each other, making the playerbase quite wide across all the systems. 

After its initial release, the game only allowed for crossplay between PC and Xbox, but the community asked long enough for Hi-Rez to also implement crossplay for PlayStation, and the Nintendo Switch version was cross platform ready upon release. 

Taking part in the crossplay action is also extremely easy on Realm Royale. Crossplay is enabled by default for regular matchmaking, so loading into a game will put you with players regardless of their platform. You can also still add friends on different platforms and play with them by inviting them to a party, which is the same process for those on the same platform too. 

Lastly, because Realm Royale uses your Hi-Rez account, it supports cross progression too. This means that you can keep your account across all the available platforms, and it will automatically keep all your progress. The only thing this doesn't apply to is premium currency, which is unique to the platform you purchased it on.
