How to get free Darkrai code in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet
If you're looking to add more Mythical creatures to your Pokedex, you'll want to check out this code for a free Darkrai in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet.
Pokemon Scarlet & Violet fans can now get their hands on the Mythical creature Darkrai thanks to a new code distribution to celebrate the upcoming Indigo Disk DLC.
If there was one thing missing from Pokemon Scarlet & Violet upon release, it was Mythical creatures. Sure, we had new Legendaries like Koraidon and Miraidon, but where were the Mythicals like Mew and Jiraichi? Well, we have some good news for you, as you can now get a Darkrai in the game - but only for a limited time!
Darkrai code in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet
You can claim your free Darkrai by entering the code NEWM00N1SC0M1NG in the Mystery Gift menu. Remember to use the numbers 0 and 1, as the letters O and I aren't used for promo codes like this one.
If you're not sure how to access the Mystery Gift menu, simply press the X button and choose the 'Poke Portal' option. Scroll down to 'Mystery Gift', select 'Get with code/password', and then enter the code above.
You'll need to have started the main Treasure Hunt story before you can access the Mystery Gift menu, and you'll also need a working internet connection to claim codes.
The Darkrai gift code expires on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at 3:59 PM PST, so make sure you claim it while you still can!
Mystery Gift Darkrai moves and stats
The Darkrai offered with this code will know the moves Dark Pulse, Shadow Ball, Hypnosis, and Dream Eater. It has 145 HP, 94 Attack, 146 Special Attack, 110 Defense, 121 Special Defense, and 145 Speed.
My Darkrai has a Calm nature and a Dark Tera Type, but I'm not sure if that will be the same for everyone.
That's everything you need to know to claim your own Mythical Darkrai! Visit our Pokemon homepage for more guides like the Tera Raid schedule and all of the Kitakami Ogre Clan member locations.
