You can find many versions of this ship thanks to the game's procedurally generated content, but it is more common in outlaw systems. There are also unique technologies for the Solar Ships which can be found and equipped for certain benefits.
Another feature that benefits all starships, is the increased cargo inventory size, which can be upgraded at salvage stations, allowing you to haul even more during your missions. With the addition of the Solar Ships, players can also now have nine saved ships instead of the previous six, letting you collect a wider cast of ships with different purposes and advantages.
