The Need for Speed series is legendary when it comes to racing games, and while the franchise has been on the back burner for several years, the latest entry, Need for Speed Unbound, has finally been unveiled. Think Into the Spiderverse combined with the realistic style of the older games. Need For Speed Unbound Release Date

Need for Speed Unbound is set for a worldwide release on December 2, only two months after it was officially announced. Need For Speed Unbound Trailers

The first and currently only trailer for Need for Speed Unbound is the reveal trailer, which debuted on October 6. It served as a showcase for the new art style, some gameplay elements, the city of Lakeshore, and the involvement of A$AP Rocky, who looks to be a character you can challenge in the game for his custom ride.

To get the obvious out of the way, Need for Speed Unbound is a racing game, with a focus on illegal street races and avoiding the cops. The ultimate goal is to become the most famous racer in Lakeshore and make it to The Grand, which is the ultimate test of your skill. The different race types haven't been revealed yet, but there will likely be a varied amount that come with different objectives other than reaching the finish line first.

Cops will play a large role in NFS Unbound, much like previous outings. They can begin to chase you during races, meaning you'll have to make decisions on the fly whether to outrun them, face them head-on, or hide out and avoid the heat. Customisation will also play a huge role, with players able to change their outfit and alter every aspect of their car's look.

Need For Speed Unbound Platforms

The game is set to release for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
