The MW2 DMZ Whistleblower mission can be difficult to complete as it requires you to perform some hard tasks all in one deployment. The MW2 DMZ mode saw a brand-new faction during Season 2, which gave players even more missions to try out every week for more rewards in the game. MW2 DMZ Whistleblower mission walkthrough
The MW2 DMZ Whistleblower mission is a tier 2 mission for the Crown faction, requiring you to complete the following three tasks in one deployment: loot the Governor's Laptop from the Town Hall, deliver it to the Ashika Beach Club Dead Drop, and deliver a screwdriver to the same Dead Drop.
Starting with the Governor's Laptop, you will need to head to the City Hall located on the south of the island, just east of the Beach Club POI. However, before you can enter this area, you will need the City Hall Hideout key.
Getting the City Hall Hideout key can be an annoying task. The only surefire way to get this key is by finishing the tier one mission Health Conscious for the Legion faction. The only other options are hoping you get lucky when killing an enemy AI, eliminating an HVT, or searching supply caches.
Once you have the aforementioned key, you can make your way to the City Hall (marked in the map above). We suggest taking the back door when you arrive here as there is a heavy AI enemy presence.
Clear the ground floor of enemies, and head toward the main entrance. On the right side, next to some desks, you can find the Governor's Laptop.
The next step is to collect a screwdriver. This is a lootable item that can be found within toolboxes, cabinets, and many more locations. We suggest searching the City Hall while you are there for one, as it makes the third step easier. If you can't locate one, head toward the Beach Club POI instead.
Once you have both the Governor's Laptop and a screwdriver, you need to head toward the Beach Club Dead Drop. Luckily, this is located behind the gas station that is directly across the road from the City Hall (marked above).
Once you reach the Dead Drop, just interact with it, and place both items inside. From here, you can exfiltrate at the nearest point, and if everything goes successfully, you will finish the Whistleblower mission and earn your rewards.
