MW2 Campaign: A Crappy Way To Die Achievement Guide
If you're looking to collect all of the trophies and achievements in the Modern Warfare 2 campaign, then you'll want to know how to unlock the 'A Crappy Way To Die' achievement. The Modern Warfare 2 campaign is filled with achievements and trophies for you to collect during this year's Call of Duty outing. Some of them are a test of skill, like completing the whole campaign on the Realism difficulty. However, some are incredibly simple to complete if you know how to find them. So, here's how to earn the 'A Crappy Way To Die' trophy and achievement in the Modern Warfare 2 campaign.

MW2 Campaign: A Crappy Way To Die
Click to enlargeThe description for this grim achievement reads: "Kill the enemy in the porta-potty.". While this description is straightforward, it doesn't leave any hints as to which mission you can find this defecating enemy. Thankfully, he's extremely easy to spot if you keep an eye out for him.
Firstly, load up the 12th mission in the Modern Warfare 2 campaign, 'Dark Water'. This sees the taskforce storming an oil rig as they search for one of the stolen missiles. Shortly into the mission, you'll ascend a set of stairs to the upper levels of the oil rig, just after you clear out a couple of enemies in a side office. As you ascend to the top, keep your eyes fixed on the left-hand side of the upper platform. You should see two bright blue portaloos - this is where our enemy is hiding.
You must move quickly, however. As the squad advances towards the portaloos, the enemy will emerge with one of your squad mates killing him on sight. If this happens, you will have missed the opportunity to earn the achievement. To earn it, you must fire into the portaloo on the left before the enemy emerges. You will see him tumble out of the door to confirm that you have done everything right.

Click to enlargeIf you're a little late on the trigger and your teammate kills the enemy before you get a chance, don't worry. Pause the game and select "Last Checkpoint" to set yourself right back on the stairwell. Now, you'll be able to line up your aim properly before your squad. If you've done everything correctly, then the 'A Crappy Way To Die' achievement should pop.
