Metroid Prime Remastered: Fusion Suit

Unfortunately, it seems like the Fusion Suit is not present in the remaster of Metroid Prime on Switch. You can only use Samus' classic suit and the other suits you unlock normally throughout the game.

The Fusion Suit was unlocked in the original game by connecting Metroid Prime and Metroid Fusion with a Nintendo GameCube Game Boy Advance Cable. This would allow you to unlock the Fusion Suit for Samus to wear throughout the game, but you had to beat Metroid Prime once before you could do it.

The change only affected Samus' aesthetic and made no difference to the gameplay. When you obtain the Phazon Suit while wearing it, it changes to the final suit from Metroid Fusion. And in Metroid Prime Trilogy, the Fusion Suit was unlockable through the Bonus Credit system.

Despite all that, there's no way that we currently know of to unlock the Fusion Suit in Metroid Prime Remastered.

Metroid Prime Remastered: What's New?

Metroid Prime Remastered is a remaster of the original Metroid Prime released in 2002. Various changes have been made to the experience to improve it for modern audiences.

The visuals have been greatly enhanced while retaining the original aesthetic that made Metroid Prime such a stand-out back in the day.

New control options have been added to give players different ways to experience the game. A classic control scheme is available, or you can use the new default Dual Stick controls which play more like a modern shooter.

Finally, lots of accessibility options such as colour assist have been added to the game.
