Lost Ark is getting a lot of new content again, and this time it's the Break Through to Thaemine patch, which is set to continue the story and get us closer to the end of the first chapter, while also adding a new class, events, and more.

The game has continued to grow since it launched in 2022, and there's still so much to experience with regard to its ongoing story. So, check out all the new changes for the Break Through to Thaemine update.

Break Through to Thaemine patch release date

Break Through to Thaemine is set to release on March 20 (today as of writing this), meaning the server downtime may have already begun in your region as the update is initialised for all players.

Breaker Advanced Class

The Breaker is the latest Advanced Class to join the lineup with the latest patch. It's a male version of the Scrapper, and they make heavy use of melee gauntlets, high mobility, and combo manoeuvres to deal massive damage.

There are also some specific systems that have been added with the Breaker. These are:

  • New Title
  • 10 new achievements
  • Breaker quests and skill unlock items
  • A Training Room guide
  • A new Trophy

They'll also release with the latest balance changes that were launched in the Korean version of the game, which is a few updates ahead.

Arkesia Tour

Arksea Tour is a new horizontal catch-up mechanic built to help players gain progress on islands, adventure tomes, skill points, and more. There are four tiers of missions, with each one requiring you to complete a task and three sub missions.

Completing all the missions will give you hundreds of rewards to make catching up with friends in the endgame much easier. The rewards include:

  • Skill Runes
  • Skill Potions
  • Stat Potions
  • Emotes / Songs
  • Cards / Pheons / Silver / Providence Stones
  • Masterpieces / Omnium Stars / Giant's Hearts / Island Souls
  • Rapport Items
  • Mounts

The first chapter of the Lost Ark story is getting closer to being finished, as the location of the titular ark is close to being revealed. The quests will answer many key questions about the Lost Ark, and brings you to the new Praeteria island location.

The quest requires you to be Item Level 1520 before you can start, and you can begin it from Kalinar, Vern Castle, or Ereonnor.

Events

Elgacia Event Powerpass

To prepare players for the new update and some of the latest content, a new Powerpass is being introduced to bring players up to Item Level 1460. It can be claimed and used until July 17, so make sure you get to it before then.

Super Mokoko Express

You'll also be able to designate one of your characters over the 1460 Item Level to take part in the Super Mokoko Express event. This essentially makes levelling in the end game easier with discounted honing rates and gold requirements, along with easier methods to grab reward chests and more.

New Raids & Dungeons

You can take part in extra endgame content thanks to new Raids and Dungeons that are being added with the update. These are:

  • Brelshaza Legion Raid Gate 3
  • Kayangel Abyssal Dungeon Gate 3
  • Akkan Legion Raid Gate 3
  • Ivory Tower Abyssal Dungeon Gate 4

Arkesia Grand Prix

A fan-favourite event from the past is back as players can take part in the Naruni Racing event once more. It features two teams of seven players competing against each other as they race around a course in major cities for big rewards.

Golden Frog Event Shop

The Golden Frog shop's duration has been increased, and it will be in the game until April 17, giving players more time to exchange Gold for valuable rewards for levelling and more.
