The Lost Ark Book of Coordination is a crucial element when it comes to PvP, and every skilled player in the game will use it to their advantage. PvP isn't available from the very get-go in Lost Ark - more on that below - but when you do eventually unlock it and want to test your mettle against other players, you'd do well to learn all about the Book of Coordination. If you're wondering exactly how PvP works, read on for everything you need to know about the Lost Ark Book of Coordination.

Lost Ark Book Of Coordination: How To Unlock PvP

Players won't begin their Lost Ark journey with the option to check out PVP as it will be locked and greyed out. However, players will still be able to duel with friends and other players, so that is a good way to get practice in and see how you measure up against other players in terms of ability.

Once you hit level 26 you will be able to complete one of the Main Story Questlines at Luterra Castle called Rebuilding Luterra. By completing this, the PvP option will unlock and you will gain access to the different PvP modes in the game, as well as the bounty board. There is a bounty board in all major cities throughout Arkesia, as well as being available from the in-game menu.

Players are able to take part in PVP for fun as part of the Normal or Custom Games, but for those who are more competitive, Ranked is where you will likely find yourself spending the most time. The Ranked mode features seven different leagues, with the final one being Grand Master which is the ultimate goal to prove you're the best of the best. Winning matches earns you points, which will help you get closer to advancing to the next league. On the other hand, being beaten will cause you to lose points which can see you demoted.

There are three different PVP modes in Lost Ark: Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, and Team Elimination.  Deathmatch is a free for all where players need to try and secure as many eliminations as possible, ideally the most eliminations. Team Deathmatch is a 3v3 mode that sees each team try to score the most eliminations and win.

Team Elimination is a little different as it combines both modes together in that it is a 3v3 mode, but players will face another player individually, so there will be three separate 1v1 fights taking place at the same time.

Players can earn plenty of rewards for taking part in PVP, including seasonal rewards such as titles and cosmetics, as well as unique effects. Once you get far enough into PVP you will be able to earn Coins of Courage which can be used to purchase PvE items including crafting gear and cosmetics.

Lost Ark Book Of Coordination Explained

The Book of Coordination is an incredibly important part of the PvP experience. Playing PvP is completely different from PvE, with the opponents being real players rather than AI, and it overall has a completely different feel to taking on hordes of monsters. This also means that you might want to choose different skills and tripod presets for PVP that may not work in PVE, which is where the Book of Coordination comes in.

This allows the player to create a secondary loadout that is designed just for PvP which can be swapped out depending on which mode you're playing. Players are also able to preview and test out skills they have yet to acquire, which can help with crafting the perfect build that you can strive for as you play and get further into Lost Ark. Once you have your perfect PvP loadout you can favorite it so it can be switched out at a moments notice depending on whether you're playing PvE or PvP.
