Lightyear Frontier takes players to a distant, uncharted planet, where they must build their new home, run a farm and explore to uncover its mysteries.

With a focus on being a "peaceful open-world farming adventure", who couldn't use more of that? As the early access version of the game is slated to arrive in early 2024, here's a rundown of all the latest details on what platforms it'll be on and the currently available trailers.

Lightyear Frontier is confirmed to be coming to the Xbox Series S|X consoles as well as PC. The game is part of the ID@Xbox program, meaning it is unlikely we will see a PlayStation version any time soon.

If you're a fan of subscription services, you're also in luck, as the game will be available on Xbox Game Pass when the early access version launches.

Are there any trailers for Lightyear Frontier?

The first look at the game came from the Lightyear Frontier reveal trailer, which shows off the world of the game and the mech that players will use in order to get around.

That's not all, though, because it additionally revealed that the game will be able to be played with friends in up to 4-player co-op.

Then in the "A Fresh Start" trailer, we saw how the player comes to this new planet, as well as some snippets of exploration, resource gathering, and construction alongside a little bit of farming gameplay.

The Multiplayer Gameplay trailer showed a more in-depth look at how multiplayer works in the game, with multiple players teaming up to gather resources and work the farm.

Finally, the Mech Customisation trailer is for those looking forward to being able to express their style in-game, with the trailer showing off many of the different ways that players can customise their mechs to make them unique - with different arm pieces and dye capabilities shown through its short runtime.

That is everything we know so far about Lightyear Frontier. For all your gaming info, stick with GGRecon for everything on Starfield, Armored Core 6, and much more.
