How To Solve The Raft Temperance Code

You may want to know the Raft Temperance code, as it allows you to access a safe inside of the Observatory location, which helps progress the story forward. While you can freely roam much of the Raft map looking for various locations to scavenge resources and build, there is also a story that you can follow. The Temperance location is a newer area that was added in the recent 1.0 update of the game, so read on for a primer on how to figure out the Raft Temperance code.

How To Solve The Raft Temperance Code

The Temperance location is a story island located in the polar region of the map, so you will need to visit it during the main story to finish the game. To get to the Temperance puzzle and access the safe, you will need to approach the large Observatory, but the floor will collapse underneath you as you approach. From here, you will need to swim through a cave and find a ladder that leads into the Observatory itself. 

Across the floors of the Observatory, you will need to look for four little notes that depict different constellations. Once you have collected all of these, head to the third floor where you can find a telescope and the safe you are seeking to open. This means it's now time for the puzzle solving, so you can figure out the Raft Temperance code.

Using the telescope and the notes you picked up (which are located in your notebook) find the corresponding constellation and count the number of stars in each one, producing the four-digit code. The four codes you'll be looking for are a bird, pufferfish, hook, and a raft - plus they are ordered in your notebook, so you know which order to find each digit.

If you don't want to mess around with all the puzzling, the Raft Temperance code is 5964. Just pop this code into the keypad and the safe will open to reward you with the Selene Key, Vending Machine Tokens, and the Stationary Anchor blueprint.
