Mounts in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor make traversing each of the planets significantly easier and even open up new Undiscovered Areas if you decide to revisit old locations. While mounts are not accessible in every area of the game and are only usable on their native planet, they're incredibly useful allies to have.

In order to ride mounts in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, you'll need to tame each of them separately on your journey. After you've done this once, the entire species will be friendly and available to ride. So, without further ado, let's check all the mounts and how to tame them as Cal Kestis.

How to tame the Relter mount

The Relter is the first mount available to tame in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor and allows you to glide over parts of the rainforest on Koboh. Keep in mind, that the Relter mount cannot be summoned or called to you in any situation, instead, you'll find the creatures perched over cliffs in allocated locations.

In order to tame the Relter mount you simply need to progress the main story up to the Basalt Rainforest. Cal will come face-to-face with a Relter on the edge of a cliff and will be given the option to tame the creature.

After this, any Relter you come across will give you the option to glide through the air. Simply stand beneath the creature and jump. Cal will then grab onto the mount's feet, and you'll have lift off!

How to tame the Nekko mount

The next mount that Cal can train is the Nekko and it offers increased speed travelling on foot as well as the ability to walk up wet terrain without slipping. Similar to the Relter, these creatures are native to Koboh and can only be used on this planet. However, Nekko's can be called to Cal's location in times of need, but only in specific areas where the game allows it.

In order to tame a Nekko, you need to continue the main story up until the Forest Array mission and you'll find one of the creatures while trekking back to the Mantis.

It's worth noting that you can store your Nekko mount in the Stables at Rambler's Reach Outpost if you're keen on riding the same one on your adventure.

How to tame the Spamel mount

Another mount you can tame is the Spamel, a long-legged creature that lives in the harsh desert landscape of Jedha. Native to the planet, the friendly creatures offer increased speed while traveling across the sandy plains.

In order to tame a Spamel, you'll need to progress the main story up until your exploration of Jedha. After a land cruiser breaks down, you're only option is to tame a Spamel and from then on, the creatures will be available to call for help whenever you're in the open desert and need a ride.

It's worth noting that Spamels cannot jump, so they're limited in the areas they can access on Jedha.
