With Gligar being a Gen-2 Pokemon that was later given a peculiar evolution method in Gen-4, fans playing the Gen-9 games being not sure what to do is an easy outcome.

A version exclusive to Pokemon Scarlet, the locations of where to find Gligar in The Teal Mask DLC for Pokemon Scarlet & Violet are as follows: 

  • Fellhorn Gorge
  • Kitakami Wilds
  • Oni Mountain
  • Paradise Barrents
  • Timeless Woods
  • Wistful Fields
  • 3-Star Tera Raids

Being available in this many locations makes it so that Pokemon Scarlet players will very likely encounter Gligar naturally whilst playing through The Teal Mask story. However, being a version exclusive also Pokemon Violet players will only be able to get Gligar by trading from Scarlet or transferring from other games via Pokemon HOME. 

How to evolve Gligar into Gliscor

Instead of having an evolution level, the way to evolve Gligar in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Teal Mask DLC is by having it level up at night whilst holding a Razor Fang. Gligar can be any level as long as it's holding a Razor Fang in the evening whilst leveling up.

How to get a Razor Fang in The Teal Mask Pokemon Scarlet & Violet DLC

Available through Teal Mask DLC, there are two ways to get a Razor Fang in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet: either by catching 110 pokemon in your Kitakami Pokedexx or going to a particular spot on the map.

If you've come to The Teal Mask DLC after beating Scarlet & Violet, you'll likely already have many of the 110 Pokemon needed in your Kitakami Pokedex to earn a Razor Rang as a reward. 

Once you do, simply open your Pokedex, go to the Kitakami Pokedex, and press the X button to open your rewards where you can claim the Razor Fang.

If you don't want to spend time filling up your Kitakami Pokedex in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, you can also go to the Razor Fang location marked in The Teal Mask map image above, north of Wistful Fields. Once you land, go to the end of the small cave shown on the right and the Razor Fang will be there for you to pick up.
