How to appear offline in MW2
To appear offline in Modern Warfare 2, it's typically a case of flicking a button within the 'Settings' menu - so keep reading for a breakdown of how you can appear offline regardless of your platform of choice:
Appearing offline - All platforms
- Load up Modern Warfare 2 or Warzone 2 and navigate to the home screen
- Click the 'Profile' button next to the Settings icon at the top of the screen
- From here you have the option to either appear as Online, Offline, Busy, or Away
Appearing offline - PC
- For Steam users:
- Load up the Steam client and click Friends at the top left of the screen
