Knowing how to destroy Weakened Walls and Security Gates in Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 will supply you with alternate routes to break into - or escape - Kado Thorne's Vaults. While Weakened Walls look like they'd give way to a couple of hits of a Pickaxe, you need specific Fortnite equipment to tear down these special walls in the game. This primer will cover where to find and how to destroy Weakened Walls and Security Gates in Fortnite.

Where can you find Weakened Walls in Fortnite?

If you're looking for Weakened Walls, the only place you'll find them is at the new POIs in Chapter 4 Season 4. In the basements of Sanguine Suites, Relentless Retreat, and Eclipsed Estate, you will encounter Weakened Walls in the areas around the Vaults. Weakened Walls are easy to spot, with their once smooth surfaces replaced by cracks and clear damage.

How to destroy Weakened Walls in Fortnite

Despite their fragile appearance in the game, your Pickaxe is not strong enough to destroy a Weakened Wall. To break a Weakened Wall in Fortnite, you need the right tools.

You can use a Rocket Ram or Remote Explosives to blast through Weakened Walls. Thankfully, these are easy to find lying around. Heist Bags in particular almost always stock a Rocket Ram or Remote Explosives.

With a Rocket Ram, all you need to do is stand in front of a Weakened Wall, activate the Rocket Ram, and let it do the rest. If you're using Remote Explosives, toss one on the Weakened Wall, take a step back, and detonate it!

Destroying Weakened Walls will open new passageways and allow you to surprise the Bosses waiting outside Kado Thorne's Vaults. If you can demolish at least two Weakened Walls, you will complete a Week 0 Quest and net 35K Fortnite XP!
