Do you have eyes on the Fortnite Volpez Skin? The Volpez Skin is the highlight of the Winter’s Trickster Legacy Set, a set of Fortnite cosmetics only obtainable by the most dedicated players. This primer will fill you in on everything you need to know to get the Volpez Skin in Fortnite.

How to unlock the Volpez Skin

The Volpez Skin is part of the game's brand-new Winter's Trickster Legacy Set. Legacy Sets like the Winter’s Trickster Legacy Set contain progressively unlocked items exclusive to Fortnite Crew members and serve as a sort of memento to your time as a Fortnite Crew subscriber.

The Winter’s Trickster Legacy Set features five stages in total. As the leader of the Winter Trickers, the Volpez Outfit is tied to Stage 5 and is the final unlock in the set. To get the Volpez Skin, you must subscribe to Fortnite Crew for five whole months.

The Volpez Skin will set you apart from your competitors.

Considering a Fortnite Crew membership costs £9.99 per month, you will need to shell out at least £49.95 to obtain the Volpez Skin in Fortnite. And since the Volpez Outfit is the final unlock in the set, the earliest you can theoretically get the Fortnite skin is November 1, 2023, at 12am GMT.

All stages of the Winter’s Trickster Legacy Set

Altogether, the Winter’s Trickster Legacy Set includes five stages. For every month you remain an active Crew subscriber, you will unlock a new stage. You can unlock Stage 1 of the Winter’s Trickster Legacy Set now and up until November 1, 2023, at 12am GMT. You will receive your new Winter’s Trickster Legacy Set items on the last day of each month — the same time you receive your monthly Crew Pack.

Below is a list of all the items contained in each stage of the Winter’s Trickster Legacy Set:

  • Stage 1: Winter's Trickster Banner Icon, the Tricksters Unite! Emoticon, and Trickster's Charge Spray
  • Stage 2: Underfox Lobby Track and Outfoxed Wrap
  • Stage 3: Blizzard's Bite Pickaxe
  • Stage 4: Skulk Pack Back Bling
  • Stage 5: Volpez Outfit

All things considered, the Volpez Skin is shaping up to be one of the most difficult to obtain, and likely rarest, Outfits in Fortnite. At a total cost of £49.95, acquiring the Volpez Skin is quite a monetary investment. It's a time investment too, as you must commit to subscribing to Crew for at least five months to get the skin in Fortnite.
