Timber Pines in Fortnite are a fresh addition to the game for the new chapter, and frankly, they're a rather surprising one. These make for an extra fun feature that allows plates to dunk trees on each other for some incredible physics-based kills.

So you can both find and topple them, here's all you need to know about Timber Pines in the game.

Where to find Timber Pines in Fortnite

Timber Pines can only be found in the Fortnite map's wintry areas, especially around Logjam Lumberyard and Shifty Shafts to the northwest corner of the island.

You'll be able to spot them pretty easily, as they're much bigger than other trees, and they've got much paler trunks than them too. You'll need to find them for one of the latest challenges too, so make sure you're paying attention.

How to cut down Timber Pines

All you have to do to take down one of the Timber Pines in Fortnite is smack it with your harvesting tool; You're going to want to be careful though, as the position in which you're standing will affect its fall.

When you're chopping the tree down, make sure you're standing on the side you don't want it to fall on. It'll fall in the direction you're facing when the final hit is made, so make sure you're pointing toward your foes and not your entire squad.

You'll also get some wood for the trouble, just as you would with any other tree.
