Fortnite is home to countless collaborations in 2023, but you might be wondering if one of the biggest video game characters has made an appearance in the game yet - Minecraft Steve.

Despite GTA 5 nipping at the heels of Minecraft, it’s still the best-selling video game of all time, outselling iconic titles like Tetris and Pacman. Fortnite is well-known for including collaborations with other popular games and movies, but Microsoft’s gigantic Minecraft has managed to steer clear - at least for now.

So, if you’re wondering if Minecraft Steve has his own skin in Fortnite yet, keep reading.

Does Fortnite have a Minecraft Steve skin?

No, Fortnite does not currently include a Minecraft Steve skin in the popular battle royale.

Fortnite collaborations tend to come around whenever something else is popular at that moment in time. For example, there was a huge Transformers collaboration earlier in 2023 to tie in with the new movie release.

In addition, plenty of Star Wars content arrived in Fortnite around the same time as the release of The Rise of Skywalker. In fact, a new trailer for the film was even revealed in the game.

However, despite the new 1.20 Trails and Tails update for Minecraft released earlier this year, there is no sign of a Minecraft Steve collaboration coming to Fortnite any time soon.

Will Minecraft Steve come to Fortnite eventually?

While it’s entirely possible that Minecraft Steve could come to Fortnite eventually, there’s currently no official word on when that might be, if ever.

Previously, Microsoft has engaged in collaborations with Epic Games and Fortnite, most notably with the release of Halo Infinite. Back then, a skin for the iconic Master Chief was introduced to the battle royale.

With that in mind, it’s not completely out of the question that Minecraft Steve could come to Fortnite eventually - and we'll be sure to update you right here if details on a Minecraft Steve skin do arise.
