Are you confused about how to find Hot Spots in Fortnite Chapter 4? Hot Spots are a Gameplay Mechanic originally introduced in Season 9 of Chapter 1, but now they're back in Fortnite. So, if you're a fiend for loot, here's what you need to know about Hot Spots in Fortnite Chapter 4.

What Are Fortnite Hot Spots?

Fortnite Hot Spots are Points of Interest (POIs) filled with flying drones stashed with high-rarity weapons. Hot Spots typically feature 12 to 16 flying drones, each holding a high-tier weapon and other goodies inside.

To check the Island for Hot Spots, you have to open the in-game Map. If a POI sports gold text, that means it's a Hot Spot.

Each match, three random POIs will be assigned as Hot Spots. Any Point of Interest on the Island can be a Hot Spot.

As the name suggests, Hot Spots are highly contested and usually the busiest places on the Island. The allure of high-quality loot attracts greedy players, so prepare for a fight if you plan to visit a Hot Spot. And with the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 Explorer Quest to open Chests in Hot Spots, these areas will have more foot traffic than ever.

So, if it's Hot Spots you're after, all you need to do is open your Map at the beginning of a match and determine which Hot Spot you want to venture to. Whether you desire powerful loot or are simply looking to brawl, you will find both at Hot Spots.

You might find a Fortnite Ex-Caliber Rifle in a flying drone at a Hot Spot!
