How to get the Galaxy Crossfade Skin

To get the skin for free, courtesy of Galaxy Cup 4, you must finish amongst the top players in your region.

How well you need to perform depends on where you're playing. Below are the placement requirements for each region:

  • NA Central: Top 1,500
  • Brazil: Top 500
  • Asia: Top 500
  • Oceania: Top 250
  • Middle East: Top 250

If you place adequately, not only will you get the Galaxy Crossfade skin for free, but you will also receive the reactive Crossfade’s Equalizer Back Bling, Spinback Slicer Pickaxe, BPM Breakdown Emote, and Crossfade’s Galaxy Wrap.

Even if you don't play your best and come up short, any player who earns at least eight points will get the House Cat Spray.

If you fail to obtain the Galaxy Crossfade Skin via the event, know that the outfit and the rest of the Hazy Dreambeats Set will make their way to the Item Shop eventually.

For the sake of comparison, the original Galaxy Cup offered the Galaxy Scout Skin as a reward for placing highly, but it popped up in the Item Shop about a week later for 2,000 V-Bucks individually or 2,800 V-Bucks as part of the Galaxy Pack Bundle.

How to register & play in the Galaxy Cup 4

Fortnite's Galaxy Cup 4 is actually two separate tournaments, the first of which is on July 29, 2023, and is available exclusively to Fortnite players using Android devices.

On July 30, 2023, there's another competition open to all players — regardless of platform.

To participate, you must have Fortnite 2FA enabled, be at least Account Level 15, and be at least Bronze I rank in Ranked Zero Build. Additionally, cabined accounts can't play in Galaxy Cup 4.
