Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth voice actors, English & Japanese cast list

If there’s one thing Final Fantasy 7 is known for, it’s the iconic cast of characters that make up your team, and from the earnestness of Aerith to the joy of both Cait Sith and Yuffie, Rebirth feels perfectly cast across its wide selection of voice actors.

We gave high praise to the characters in our glowing review, and a big part of their effectiveness comes from the excellent performances across the whole cast. What better way to learn where the magic comes from then than a full list of every actor across both English and Japanese languages in the game?

While many cast members are returning from Final Fantasy 7 Remake, the ensemble cast comes from film television and games, with the likes of Cody Christian from Teen Wolf and Pretty Little Liars, Josh Bowman from Revenge, and Britt Baron of GLOW and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor fame.

Matthew Mercer is certainly a name you should recognise, having a career that's spanned decades and includes several iconic characters, like Goro Majima in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, Cole Cassidy in Overwatch 2, and Ganondorf in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom to name but a few credits.

Below you’ll find a list of the Japanese voice cast you can expect to hear in Final Fantasy Rebirth. Again, with new characters like Cid and Vincent joining the team, you’re bound to spot a few new names.

It's certainly no surprise to see Takahiro Sakurai reprising his role as Cloud. He has voiced him since the very first Kingdom Hearts game and has continued to do so.
