If you want to know how to unlock the Eden raids in FFXIV so that you can progress with the story once you have completed Shadowbringers’ Main Scenario Quest, this will allow you to unlock new raids and new content. These raids take place in the post-expansion story so sure to keep reading if you want to unlock the raids.

There are plenty of raids and dungeons that you can take part in throughout the vast world of Eorzea, with some of them even dropping mounts if you are lucky enough.

Here is everything you need to do in order to unlock the Eden raids in the game.

How do you unlock Eden Raids in FFXIV?

In order to unlock the Eden Raids in FFXIV, you first have to be level 80. You then have to make sure you’ve completed the final quest in the Shadowbringers MSQ (Main Scenario Quest).

Once you’ve fulfilled those requirements, you have to speak to the Anxious Crystarium Guard at the Crystarium (X.9.7, Y:12.3). He will give you two quests named Middle of Nowhere and Deploy the Core. Once you have completed both of these quests, the Eden Raids will then be accessible.

How many Eden Raids are there in FFXIV?

In total, there are three Eden Raids in FFXIV with 12 bosses split across all three raids. They are titled Eden’s Gate, Eden’s Verse and Eden’s Promise.

You can also do this raid on Savage difficulty if you want more of a challenge and want to get your hands on some of the rewards that are available. Although, be prepared for a tough ride.

However, you will need to have a relatively high item level overall to ensure that you are doing enough damage and are able to survive in the raids, aside from following the tactics of the raid. I for one definitely felt unprepared going into the Savage difficulty raids!

Eden Raid rewards

On normal difficulty, FFXIV Eden Raids won’t give you typical item coffers when it comes to rewards. Instead, they will give you tokens that you can exchange for gear with Ghul Gul in Amh Araeng or Yhal Yal in Eulmore.

These tokens have different names depending on what floor you got them from and from which raid.
