How to preload Armored Core 6 on PlayStation, Xbox, & PC
Here is everything you need to know about them you can preload Armored Core 6; the latest game by FromSoftware that is releasing later this month on PlayStation, Xbox and PC.
As we approach the release of Armored Core 6, it is time to think about when we can preload the game as well as how to go about it.
It has been over 10 years since we last got a fresh Armored Core, with the mech shooter going on hiatus whilst FromSoftware worked on other projects. The new game is almost here, so let’s dive into when you can preload the game on various platforms.
Preload on PS5 and PS4
The Armored Core 6 preload will be available on PlayStation consoles from August 23. This is according to the Twitter profile PlayStation Game Size, which is traditionally very reliable.
This means that players will be able to pre-install the game two days early on their PlayStation console, giving fans plenty of time to get the game downloaded and ready for launch.
Here's what you need to do:
- Go to Library
- Go to Purchased and select the pre-order
- You'll see a timer below the title counting down to the game's release
- Click on the timer
- Now simply follow the on-screen instructions to adjust auto-download for the game
Preload on PC and Xbox
Armored Core 6 will be available for preloading on Xbox on August 10, while PC players will need to wait until August 23.
Here's how to preload Armored Core 6 on PC:
- Go to Steam
- Search the game once it has been pre-ordered
- Once it can be preloaded, there will be a preload button next to the release date
- Select this button and you're good to go
Here's how to preload Armored Core 6 on Xbox:
- Search the game in the Microsoft Store
- Once available, there will be a pre-install button next to the release date
- Select pre-install
- Now simply wait for the release
That's all there is to know about the Armored Core 6 preload. With the PlayStation and Xbox versions of the game, you can preload them via the mobile app too, as long as you leave your console in standby mode.
We recently had the opportunity to sit down and discuss the game with the developers, where they spoke about how previous games have influenced this one.
