Is Advance Wars coming to PC and Xbox Game Pass?

If you're excited about the new remaster, then you might be wondering if there will be an  Advance Wars PC or Xbox Game Pass release. Having debuted on the Game Boy Advance, Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp is a rejuvenation of the first two tank-based tactical games by Intelligent Systems.

Is Advance Wars coming to PC and Xbox Game Pass?

Unfortunately, Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp is not coming to PC and Xbox Game Pass, and will remain a Nintendo Switch exclusive title for the foreseeable future.

Seeing as it is a Nintendo-published title, it would be very surprising to see it make the jump at any point post-release - especially as the series has no history outside of Nintendo's first-party console lineup.

We never know though, as previously Nintendo Switch exclusive tactics titles like Triangle Strategy have been ported over to PC several months after release, but that was developed and published by Nintendo so has less ties to the Switch.

The same is very true for another Intelligent Systems series in Fire Emblem which has remained Nintendo exclusive for its entire life span, even with the most recent release of Fire Emblem Engage.

So, if you're desperate to play Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp and you've not got a Nintendo Switch, you might need to either make the jump or miss out entirely. Considering how loved the series is though, you might not look back after making the switch.
