A recent job listing from Konami suggests that the developer is planning to work on some big Silent Hill projects in the near future.

The listings seem to suggest that a team focused exclusively on the Silent Hill franchise may be in the process of being formed.

Konami job listings suggest new Silent Hill games are in the works

Job listings shared by Konami on Twitter suggest that a new team with the intention of focusing on Silent Hill titles is in the works, as the team is looking for artists, planners, engineers and project managers.

According to Twitter, the tweet from Konami Careers translates to: “The "Silent Production Team" is recruiting artists, planners, engineers, and project managers. Please join us in this work, which has many fans overseas! A chance to be involved in game production in a cutting-edge development environment.”

This tweet is in response to one from SiliconstudioAG, which translates to: “Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd. is recruiting game creators for "large-scale projects" who will be responsible for the future game business!”

While the Tweets do not reveal much about the projects themselves, the Silent Production Team appears to be referring to a new in-house development team focused on the popular series.

Konami are currently working on several Silent Hill projects

There are several games from Konami in the works at the moment, including three Silent Hill titles.

The majority of Silent Hill games are not developed by Konami themselves, which suggests that the new team will either be assisting third-party developers or working on brand new in-house titles.

The biggest upcoming game is the remake of Silent Hill 2, which is being developed by Bloober Team, and  is set to release on PlayStation consoles exclusively in the near future.

As well as this, Konami are also working on Silent Hill Townfall, which is being developed by No Code, and Silent Hill F, which is being developed by NeoBards Entertainment.

Silent Hill: Ascension, developed by GenVid Entertainment, is a community-driven media experience which is told through daily livestreams, and is also currently being played out.

Other games in the series have been leaked recently, however have not been confirmed by Konami.
