Now might be the best time ever to dip your toes into Apex Legends, as Respawn Entertainment is lining up some massive changes for the rest of the year.

With much-needed attention coming to Storm Point, an overhaul of legends like Revenant, and a huge upgrade in engines planned, getting into Apex Legends will have you reaping the rewards come Christmas.

And with Call of Duty officially off-season, players are flocking over to Apex for a breath of fresh air. Now, the greatest of them all, Seth "Scump" Abner, has confessed that he’s hooked after just a few days.

Scump confesses new Apex Legends addiction

Scump has been giving Apex Legends a go for the first time, featuring in streams alongside fellow CoD esports alumni Damon "Karma" Barlow and Anthony "Methodz" Zinni, as well as established Apex veterans like Nick "NICKMERCS" Kolcheff and Dalton "Daltoosh" Hester.

But after learning the ins and outs of legends like Bangalore, Scump has now begun to climb through the ranks of Apex Legends and has taken to Twitter the claim he's "addicted." The ex-CoD pro and content superstar has now pledged that he will climb to Predator rank and is already up into Platinum.

Scump's first-ever Kraber shot went exactly how you’d imagine

The Call of Duty king might not be quite at the level to become a Pred just yet, but after just a few hours on the game, his FPS adeptness is coming to fruition.

In a stream with NICKMERCS, Scump discovered the Kraber in Apex Legends, and with one player remaining in a duos lobby, Nick said, "Sprint in there, take that Kraber out and shoot him in the head."

To nobody's surprise, Scump instantly quick-scoped the last player, landing his first bullet with the sniper right to his foe's dome, winning the game in an extraordinary fashion.

It's clear to see that the 'King' still has incredible talent in his hands, and Apex might have now just gained one of the biggest streamers on Twitch.
