Joining Star-Lord as the next Guardian of the Galaxy in Fortnite, Gamora has been confirmed to be joining the battle royale title very soon.

While we all remember the Marvel madness of Chapter 2 Season 4, there's more fun to be had with the expanded world of the Avengers. With Star-Lord set to return to the item shop, he'll be joined by his potential bae.

The news was revealed by popular leaker HYPEX, who shared the first promo image of the skin, harvesting tool, glider, and cape back bling.

The leaker shared the look on Twitter:

Aside from appearing in the comics, Gamora rose to fame thanks to Zoe Saldana's portrayal of the green meanie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Gamora follows in the footsteps of Marvel favourites like Loki landing on the island. With Gamora on the way, it begs the question of what other Marvel mights could also come to Epic's battle royale brawler.

With the skin appearing in its finished form, we knew it wouldn't be long until Gamora arrives in Fortnite. There will be a Duos Gamora Cup on August 11 - where you can win her skin early. If you don't fancy your chances, you can always wait for her to arrive in the shop on August 18. Similar to the hype of The Suicide Squad's bloodsport joining Fortnite, Gamora is sure to be a hit with comic book fans and gamers alike.
