It appears that Chapter 2 - Season 7’s alien invasion has the Fortnite economy in shambles. In-game prices have reached new heights as inflation wreaks havoc on Fortnite’s financial system. A simple gun upgrade of Common rarity to Uncommon rarity costs 200 Gold Bars. The most egregious example we’ve seen is 100 pieces of Wood selling for 1,000 Gold Bars!

These inflated prices have Fortnite players burning through Gold Bars faster than they can earn them. With so many different in-game services costing Gold Bars, players are desperate for efficient methods of farming this special currency.

Through our research, we’ve stumbled upon a method of Gold Bar farming that’s capable of producing 1,000+ Gold Bars in a single match. Follow the steps outlined below, and you’ll be swimming in gold.

Create A Battle Lab

The first step to this Gold Bar farming trick is to start up a Battle Labs match. Players will need to create their own Battle Lab. But before starting the match, you’ll want to adjust a few of the match options. Choose Holly Hedges as your spawn location and adjust the gravity level to Asteroid. Finally, accept these match adjustments and start the game.

Land at Believer Beach and talk to Sunny on the pier

Sunny, the alien loving non-player character (NPC), can be found wandering the pier at Believer Beach. Approach Sunny and speak with her. Sunny sells guns and other services, but we just want her quests. Discuss quests with Sunny and accept the Fly UFO quest.

Use The Payphone At The Eastern Entrance Of Believer Beach

After talking with Sunny, players should leap on over to the Payphone located at the eastern entrance of Believer Beach. These Payphones are positioned all over the map and offer a variety of random quests that players can accept.

Use the Payphone and accept the quest of your choosing. There are some stipulations, though. The quest you accept must have a 60-minute time limit and be free of the “this match only!” label. Quests with less than a 60-minute time limit or quests labelled for this match only will not work for this method of earning Gold Bars.

Open The Menu And Choose The “Back to Hub” Option

At the hub, players can choose which part of the Fortnite island they’d like to drop into. This is an easy way to fast travel around the island in the Battle Labs mode.

Visit Other Payphone Locations And Accept More Quests

There are fifteen total Payphones scattered around the map. It’s possible to go around and collect up different quests from each of these Payphones.

Players should use the hub to quickly visit as many Payphones as possible. We recommend accepting quests from at least half of the Payphones before continuing with the next steps.

Remember, only accept quests with a 60-minute time limit and quests that do not include the “this match only!” warning.

Visit NPCs and Accept Quests

There are dozens of NPCs on the Fortnite island that offer quests just like Sunny in Believer Beach. While hunting down Payphones, Gold Bar seekers should aim to visit as many different NPCs as possible and accept their quests as well.

Our favourite NPCs to visit include:

  • Maven - at Dinky Dish, the Imagined Order (IO) base on the hill north-west of Steamy Stacks
  • Hayseed - at Steel Farm, north-east of Corny Complex
  • Abstrakt - behind the supermarket in Retail Row
  • Special Forces - at the entrance to the **REDACTED** Bunker up the road from Catty Corner

These NPCs are all located within walking distance of Payphones, making them an easy pitstop on your trip. Additionally, the quests they offer synchronize well with some of the Payphone quests you’ll end up accepting.

There’s no limit to how many NPC quests you can accept, so you’re free to deviate from our list. These are simply the most efficient NPCs to deal with.

Complete All Of The Quests In Team Rumble

When you leave the Battle Labs match, you’ll still have all the quests you just accepted. Now you can go into Team Rumble to easily complete them all. Payphone and NPC quests are a breeze. Completing all of these new quests in a single Team Rumble match should be very doable.

With all of your quests in hand, launch a Team Rumble match. Have a plan for how you’re going to tackle these quests. For example, players can land at the Green Steel Bridge for a guaranteed UFO spawn. From there, fly to the cornfield at Corny Complex and gather Corn. Just like that, you have knocked out Sunny and Hayseed’s quests.

Completing all of the quests accepted through the steps above will net you over 1000 Gold Bars in just one match. This number can grow even higher if you talk to more NPCs and accept more quests.

Nowadays, prices are high and Gold Bars are scarce. But there are still profits to be made by competitors willing to go the extra mile. Players can use this sneaky little method to farm 1,000+ Gold Bars in a single match of Fortnite.
