It sounds like Omni-Man is suiting up in spandex and is ready to punch a hole through our chests with the next big Fortnite crossover. The brutal world of Robert Kirkman's Image Comics series has found a legion of new fans thanks to Amazon's animated series, and now, Fortnite is in its sights.

First published back in 2003, Invincible is up there with The Walking Dead as one of Kirkman's most famous creations. Although it concluded after 144 issues in 2018, Invincible came back in a big way via its 2021 adaptation for Amazon Prime. With Season 2 just debuting, the timing couldn't be better for a Fortnite drop.

Fortnite leakers tease Invincible crossover

We've had plenty of superhero crossovers in Fortnite, with the game sometimes going even further to introduce locales like Gotham City and The Daily Bugle. While we don't expect to see the whole map infiltrated by Viltrumites, trusted leaker ShiinaBR claims an Invincible collab is coming to the shop.

In a new tweet, they show off outfits for Atom Eve, Mark Grayson/Invincible, and the all-powerful Omni-Man. Alongside this, there are a series of Back Blings, including the decapitated head of The Immortal. There's no word on when these could arrive, but the 27.10 update has likely introduced them in the files.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5 has been a wild throwback to the OG map of Chapter 1, but it's unclear where Omni-Man and co. fit into things. As the item shop has been a 'classic' theme without the many crossovers we've loved, we don't know if the Invincible crossover is coming this season or is being saved for Chapter 5.

Fortnite fans can't wait for the Invincible crossover

You'd better start saving those V-bucks because you know the Invincible crossover will cost a pretty penny. Typically, individual skins cost between 1500 and 1800 V-bucks. For those who are sick of seeing the same DC skins or a million versions of Spider-Man rotate through the shop, Invincible offers something different.

Players are already hyped for an Invincible crossover, with one cheering, "Broooo this is pretty sick. W Fortnite." Another added, "Sh*t I might play for this," and a third said, "Wallet's gonna be empty again." Part of the positive reception is because this is away from Fortnite's usually kid-friendly aesthetic.

It's great that we've potentially ticked Invincible off the ever-growing list of requested crossovers, now do The Boys. Like the imminent clash of Omni-Man and Homelander in Mortal Kombat 1, we want to see it on the Fortnite battlefield.
