Good news everybody, it looks like a Futurama and Fortnite crossover is on the way. While leakers normally beat Epic Games to the post, the developer has just confirmed a (hopefully) massive collaboration for July 26.

After being cancelled multiple times, Futurama has officially returned to our screens for Season 11. The first episode is currently up on Disney+, so timing couldn't be better for a Futurama x Fortnite collaboration. Although we don't have long to wait, the Twitterverse is exploding with ideas of what we want to see.

Epic Games confirms Futurama and Fortnite crossover

Epic Games has linked to a YouTube video, pointing to a July 26 premiere for whatever the Futurama and Fortnite crossover has on offer. For once, we've actually hoping for a line of skins. Let's just hope it's not another maligned game mode similar to the Among Us ripoff.

Most likely, we'll be getting a skin pack that will include Fry, Leela, and Bender. Beyond that, it's anyone's guess. We'd love a Planet Express ship glider and Nibbler Back Bling, but you'll have to check back with what Epic has up its sleeve.

Fortnite is going big on the crossovers

Fortnite has always been known for its pop culture crossovers, but as Call of Duty tries to get in on the action with its outlandish collabs with the likes of The Boys, Epic has to keep them coming. Although one with The Elder Scrolls brought two gaming giants together, others have ben lost to the ages.

Your sci-fi crossovers don't end here, but we're worried the much-hyped Doctor Who x Fortnite collaboration has been delayed. There's also no sign of the Family Guy crossover, while we've never seen The Simpsons. With Futurama back from the dead in style, we're excited to see the Planet Express crew crash into Fortnite.
